Verify an inspection record

Enter the code printed on a Bright Inspect report, or scan its QR code, to confirm it's genuine. The result shows the vehicle, the inspection date, the result and the inspector of record, so officers, brokers and insurers can trust what they're shown.

What does a verified record show?

  • Vehicle identification number (last 6 characters) and unit number
  • Inspection date and expiration date
  • Pass or fail result
  • Inspector name and qualification reference

Who can look up a record?

Only people the carrier shares the code with. Officers, brokers, insurers, airports and school districts use it to confirm that the report in front of them is genuine and matches the vehicle.
